Photographer AJ Smith grew up playing and working in Apalachicola, Florida. Many days were spent on, near and in the Apalachicola Bay and River, fishing, swimming and living on the river and bay. Countless hours were spent exploring the sloughs, riverbanks, and barrier islands of Franklin County. The critters that populate the wet and dry lands are unique and they unknowingly demonstrated to us the importance of respecting their home. We never realized we were living in one of the wonders of the world.

The beauty of the bays, rivers, islands and small towns can hardly be described in words, thus Oyster Bay Images was born. The sunsets found here are some of the most spectacular in the world.

Please enjoy the beauty of this place through the eyes of a man who can never repay the river for its contribution to his life. I am humbled by God's magnificent creation every time I see a mullet jump, a turtle on a log and the many shells layered along the miles of beaches.
